Two endings

It was true. One stage before mine, husband and wife were getting off the bus. We were seated next to the door. I could see them standing next to me, waiting for the bus to stop. Extremely close range. I was now looking at the enormous dimples on his baby-like cheeks, a strong contrast to the ripple of the muscles beneath the folded sleeve of his shirt.

This story, as the title says, has two endings. I have given both endings with the story; let me know which one you like.

The story is at: Two endings

  1. I loved this. I loved the first ending more maybe because I can identify with it :) The sudden entrace of super good looking greek gods and how we want to freeze them that way in memory.

And I so agree with the iyengars of Srirangam! God they are hot.

P.S I cant believe i have missed so many of your stories. Time to catch up :)

  2. Nivi,
    Agreed on every count.
For once, both time and inclination to write are on my side!

  3. Hi,

after reading “Stolen Music” this one seemed a bit bland. Anyways, nice work and keep it up.

I like the iyengar (assuming its the girls who prepare) for their puliyodarai anyday.

  4. @ R Sankara Narayanan
    They are just different stories.
I think men are better cooks than women, Chellappa’s kalyana saapadu anyway. What say? ;)
